The purpose for initiating the Study Club is to broaden one’s horizons, to magnify thoughts, to exchange information and to improve the quality of life. The members are trained to be competent in expressing their thoughts in a written form and expected to expand their knowledge by generating reading reports. Reading is thus integrated in the corporate culture.

The Study Club is a peer learning activity. A group of employees with similar demand for learning spontaneously gather together to mutually share their experiences, perspectives, thoughts and ways of thinking. By combining knowledge management, then information, common sense and knowledge can all be shared to develop wisdom. This sharing allows for both the workplace and private life to be taken into account in order to enhance and focus allegiance, thus leading to a firmer foundation and the extension of hardware and software in QMI. The Study Club is therefore not just a new way of learning in the 21st century, but is also a novel tool used to construct corporate culture.
